The new radioactive waste management centre in Seibersdorf is in need of a manual sorting box for solid low-level waste.
Description
NUKEM’s sorting box allows for radioactive waste to be segregated into combustible and non-combustible waste items. To this end, the sorting box is equipped with a tilting device for 100 l drums to feed the waste into the box. The scope of supply comprises: Manual sorting box for low-level waste Tilting device for 100l drums Two drums transport carts

NUKEM is supposed to provide the following services: Basic and Detail Engineering of the sorting box Preparation of the licensing package and support during experts' appraisal Manufacturing, supply and installation in the new waste management centre Commissioning and training of the operating personnel
